What's a Sneak??

Peeks at Sneaks...you may rightfully wonder what this title has to with movies, so let me give you a short introduction to my blog. I will basically review movies (the so called Sneaks), but I will not only tell you about the movies itself but also about my experiences at the cinema while seeing those movies. Please keep in mind that this involves to some extent my own personal preferences so even if I didn't like the movie, it may just be the right one for you.

Now, a Sneak is a weekly event at our local cinema, Cinestar, but also exists in many other cities throughout Germany.

The three main characteristics of a Sneak are:

• costing only €5 watching a Sneak is considerably cheaper than watching an average movie at the cinema
• however, you don't which movie they're going to show until the movie actually starts meaning that every Sneak is going to be a surprise
• all you know is that they show a movie which hasn't been released in Germany yet
• once a month there is also an Original Version (OV) Sneak, but don't worry, all of them have been movies in English so far

The Sneak also has some other benefits apart from being able to see movies for a rather low amount of money:

• you have the chance to win vouchers, books, DVDs and other things by answering questions about the last movie correctly or by correctly guessing the movie they're going to show on Facebook
• if you retain five Sneak tickets you can get a free ticket if you show up the sixth time (if you do this a ticket would basically only cost €4)

I also managed to convince some of my friends to come to the Sneaks with me and our group now has a considerable size at the OV Sneaks.
